It absolutely pains me to see the subculture becoming the mainstream. Im not, and have never been one of those people against whats mainstream culture what so ever but the subculture is what is is for a reason. We dont want to be a part of your american dream. It saddens me because people that have lived in any subculture have had to put up with so much just because of how we look to everyday society. We have not been given jobs because of it and looked down upon because of it..But now that its high fashion to look punk rock, its acceptable. This is just all the more reason to step out in boldness and do what YOU want to do and be the person that YOU want to be. It seems more and more that we really arent the scum bag, heathen, thief, liar, tyrant, drug addict, mongoloid that society has once viewed us as..they are just scared of what they dont know. So lets keep them scared.

Truth.

Thats awesome. Are you going to go see them? Their new album is really good.

It was good to get away for a couple of days. This summer will bring more traveling, more outdoors and much more community.

35 Years Ago Today…
Star Wars (A New Hope) was released in theaters for the first time.
It went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time (up to that point). Adjusted for inflation, it comes in at number 3 in the list of highest-grossing films ever made right behind Avatar (2009) and Gone With The Wind (1939). If you were to include toy/merchandise sales into the mix, it would take the top spot by a very wide margin. It isn’t all just about making money. It currently averages an 8.8/10 on IMDB which places it at #17 all time as voted by users.
